Reviews are helpful in giving other pet owners a sense of the pet care provider's skills at a glance. In addition to reviews, tips are a great way to recognize when a sitter has provided excellent care to your pet.
Here’s some important info about the review process:
- You have 21 days after a booking ends to leave a review, or 7 days for a recurring service.
- Your sitter or dog walker can also leave feedback about your pet(s) after each booking. They have the same window of time to leave feedback.
- You won’t be able to see their feedback (nor will they see your review) until you’ve both submitted or until the window has closed.

- Tap Inbox at the bottom of your screen.
- A the top of your screen, navigate to the Past section of your inbox.
- Open the booking you’d like to review.

Tap Leave a review or tip.
- Select a star rating and write a few words in your review. You might also see an option to fill out private feedback for Rover, which isn't visible to your sitter.
- Tap Continue.
- Add an optional tip amount. Sitters receive 100% of tips you give them.
- Tap Submit.

- Navigate to your Inbox by selecting the conversation icon in the upper right corner of your screen.
- Select Past Stays.
- From the booking details, click Leave a review or tip.
- Select a star rating and write a few words in your review. You might also see an option to fill out private feedback for Rover, which isn't visible to your sitter.
- Tap Continue.
- Add an optional tip amount.
- Click Submit.
How to tip and leave a review for a recurring service
You can leave a review and tip your sitter for a recurring service every Monday after the first week of service. Here's how:
- Open the current booking from the Current bookings section of your inbox.
- Select Leave a review or tip.
