Your card is charged at the time of booking, similar to reserving a flight. You will see an authorization charge for the transaction, but this will drop off within 3 to 5 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank.

Rover holds onto the funds and releases payment to your sitter or dog walker two days after the service is complete. 

If a provider does not accept your request, any processing charges will be dropped from your bank account.
