Rover is committed to establishing a safe, worry-free environment that protects the privacy of sitters and pet parents alike.
For this reason, Rover uses relay numbers, before and after a service has been booked so that your actual phone number remains private. In some cases—when arranging a Meet & Greet, for example—a sitter or pet parent may choose to share an address or phone number before a service has been booked to ensure they're able to meet in person.
Even after the service has been booked, Rover maintains a strict policy. A sitter’s address will only be displayed if the service is scheduled to take place at the sitter’s home.
For more information about how information is shared, read our Rover Privacy Policy.
